I went to a good gig last night, the band was Breed 77. I don't think I've ever seen them before, maybe at OzFest or Download, I don't know. But they really rocked!!

The support band were rub-bish! I thought they said they were called 'Hiny 5', and a mate thought that it was banana splits or something, anyway they might've had Death in the title. They were a 4 piece and they screamed at different pitches and the lead vocalist actually tried singing at points but was awful, and really shouldn't have bothered! They did get better the more drunk I got though.

Breed77 sound like they actually have songs, with nice vocals and melody. They were so much better than the first band they looked like black album era Metallica, after Napalm death with a poorly singer had just opened for them. I liked the flamenco style guitar that interspersed with the heavier guitars, they even played a mandolin at one point. It's good to see a bit of originality nowadays. i think the majority of the songs were off of their 3rd album, which I will be buying I think. They didn't rule out Download this year either, so you might be lucky and see them there if you're going. I do know a few ppl going, so i might go, it'll be strange if I don't go to a festival this year.
